Until February 29, 2024, Sumy State University has access to the AMBOSS platform developed by leading German doctors.
AMBOSS is an interactive resource that contains the latest information and is based on evidence-based medicine.

- educational materials from more than 25,000 textbooks, medical journals, instructions from various fields of medicine
- more than 10,000 educational videos, interactive images, and flowcharts
- QBank test database, which was developed according to the USMLE exam program. These are more than 6,000 questions based on clinical cases.
- clinical recommendations for diagnosis and treatment
- emergency care checklists
- directory of medicinal products
- medical calculators
AMBOSS for students:
- studying medicine with the help of videos and interactive images (CT, MRI, and X-ray images, histological preparations, etc.)
- quick access to educational materials from all branches of medicine
- studying anatomy using 3D models
- self-testing of knowledge and preparation for exams using QBank tests
- function to clarify medical terms
AMBOSS for doctors and teachers:
- quick information search
- clinical decision support
- creating own blocks of questions for students and checking knowledge
- use of images, videos, and descriptions of clinical cases during classes
- assessment and analysis of results to identify weaknesses in students
HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO AMBOSS?
- Register on the AMBOSS platform using a corporate email containing one of the domain names: @sumdu.edu.ua, @med.sumdu.edu.ua, @ms.sumdu.edu.ua, or @student.sumdu.edu.ua.
- Next, click the Activate Institutional License link.
- Select "Sumy State University Medical Institute" from the drop-down menu and click "Activate License." After that, enter the email address you registered with.
- Click "Activate license" again.
- You will receive an email with a link to activate your account. Click on it. Now, you can use all the features of the resource. More details.
