May 18 is International Museum Day. This year, the Sumy State University Library welcomes this holiday with the exhibition "Visited" the talented Sumy photo artist Serhii Maliuk.

The exposition presents 41 works. In the photo, it is the time of awakening, the time of love, the time to start new things, a magical spring. The landscape with snow-covered trees is replaced by gentle watercolor colors.

"Spring is transparent. Spring is slender. Spring is blue-eyed and mostly multicolored. And only, it was monochrome. Spring was brought by your thoughts, piercing birds and the movement of the solar circle. We won't even have time to come to our senses, but there is already a green blanket dotted with flowers, white gardens and the future Victory all around us. Through the long "covid" and war years, Spring Visited to us again!"

Serhii Maliuk was born and grew up in the city of Sumy. Graduated from the Sumy Children's Art School.

After graduating from the institute in 1992, he worked as an engineer at a small enterprise. Specialty by education: mechanical engineer.

From 1994 to 2009, he worked as a distributor of the "Kodak" company in the Sumy branch of JV "Focus". Since 2015, he has been a member of the Sumy regional organization of the National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine. Currently, (2023), he manages the media content production group of Sumy State University and since the beginning of the Russian invasion has been the Chairman of the Sumy local organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.

The author's work includes 8 collective and 4 personal exhibitions.

Serhii Malyuk's personal exhibition "Visited" will last until June 30, 2023 in the Literary Event Room of the Sumy State University Library.
