The collection contains over 3,000 of the world's most influential English-language magazines. More than 1,500 of them are indexed by the Scopus and Web of Science databases and belong to the category of magazines of the first two quartiles (Q1, Q2).

The Springer Nature Academic Literature Publishing House was created in May 2015 by merging the powerful Publishing Group, Palgrave Macmillan and Macmillan Education from Springer Science and Business Media.
