May 18 is a great opportunity to visit the museum! Since 1977, on this day the whole world celebrates the International Museum Day. It not only reminds people of different countries of the need to love and know their history, but also allows for dialogue between different countries and peoples.

This year, the International Council of Museums (ISOM) proposed the topic "The Future of Museums: Reinventing and Rethinking." In the context of recent events, this topic acquires special significance for the museums of Ukraine.

Today there are about 50 state and public museums in Sumy Region, which have invaluable museum collections – historical, artistic, artistic.
