Do you have a lot of friends, do you want to spend time with them in a fun and comfortable way? Do you want to make new acquaintances? Or are you a first-year student who wants to get to know your course mates better at an informal meeting? Then you to us!

On the basis of SumDU Library, we created the International club for students, whose goal is to unite foreign students and Ukrainian students, to involve them in the cultural, social and creative life of the university.

Interesting meetings over a cup of aromatic coffee, atmospheric stories about the native country, its customs, traditions, history, joint movie screenings, exciting games and competitions in comfortable spaces of the Library of Sumy State University give a lot of positives.

We have already danced ethnic dances with Tanzanians, introduced the peculiarities of Ukrainian cuisine to Nigerians, sang Ukrainian songs with Turks, and ate pancakes on Maslenitsa with students from India, Tanzania, and Kazakhstan. And all this – in English!

We plan to hold Days of Japanese, Ukrainian, American culture, national holidays with customs and traditions, creative evenings, and days of national cuisine.

The International Club makes student life interesting, fun and diverse, and we are happy to invite students to join this wonderful initiative.
