Google Cloud for Education

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a platform for cloud computing resources in IaaS, SaaS and PaaS formats to create, operate and run software.

The purpose of the platform is to provide storage space and create software and disseminate knowledge among platform users.

What opportunities does the platform offer?

The Google Cloud Platform provides a grant for teachers and researchers to learn from Google Cloud tools for research and use of cloud tools and virtual computing resources, which allows:

  • work with digital tools for computing and hosting;
  • create data management strategies and store them;
  • apply joint workflows;
  • use container technology;
  • gain knowledge in the field of cloud technologies;
  • create your own cloud infrastructure;
  • observe research innovations in action.

Students, teachers and researchers can take advantage of the platform. To do this, you must apply for a grant (free credits), which can then be spent on training programs.

Students cannot receive a grant to access the cloud on their own. This opportunity is provided to the student by the teacher and the application is submitted on his behalf.

Teachers are given $100 in the form of cloud loans. Validity – 12 months after application.

Researchers can conduct large-scale analysis and turn research data into valuable ideas. Apply to receive up to $5,000 in Google Cloud Credits for academic research. Training for researchers.
